Project Summary, Objectives and Results
One important government measure to meet labour market dynamism in VET involved the implementation of a State Programme 2008-2012 focussed on VET modernization in order to provide better access to VET, enhancing its attractiveness, to strengthen the quality of training and competitiveness of VET staff and to increase the efficiency of VET management and financing.
The programme includes plans for improvements to:

The Programme was implemented in 2 stages:
– The first stage (2008-2010) focused on updating educational programs and institutional development of the VET system.
– The second stage (2011-2012) was the stage of reforms development and ensuring the sustainability of the VET system.
