Project Summary, Objectives and Results

Project Summary

Within the project «Modernization and development of curricula on pedagogy and educational management in the Central Asian countries» university partners from Central Asia will develop and modernize the existing curriculums on “Pedagogy” and develop a new curriculum on “Educational Management” based on European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) that meet international best practices and national specifics, based on the experience of European and Central Asian universities.

Project Objectives

The project aims at significant reformation and modernization of the pedagogic-educational system in 3 countries of Central Asia in terms of implementation best practices from EU partners, national specifics and priorities of their home countries and with the purpose to provide the countries with the highly-qualified specialists in pedagogy and also in administrating educational institutions with new competence. The goal is to introduce new curricula on Pedagogy and Education management.

The main objectives of the EDUCA project are:
– Development/modernization and implementation of curricula, based on competence approach (TUNING methodology), ECTS and including learning outcomes evaluation on pedagogic and educational management,
– Implementation into the educational process contemporary educational technologies and quality assessment methods.

Project Results

The project will result in the significant modernization of the pedagogic education and establishment of the relevant system for training managers for education system in Central Asian countries.

As a result of the project in the partner countries of Central Asia a new system of training teachers, based on the multilevel system with different possibilities of constructing the paths for the career development, including the scientific, academic and managerial will be formed.
